Mail Time! #14
Monday was an epic day for mail!
The first envelope I got was from the Beloit Snappers, Class-A Affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. Last year, they were in the Twins organization.
I got a 2012 pocket schedule:
Then, I found 3 baseball cards of their mascot:
This is what was on the back of each card:
Lastly, I got a pamphlet about season tickets and group tickets:
The second envelope I got was from the Milwaukee Brewers:
After that, I pulled out 3 photo cards, starting with Ed Sedar, their 3rd Base Coach:
Next, I pulled out a Chris Narveson card:
Finally, there was a card for Ryan Braun:
The 3rd envelope I got was from the Kansas City Chiefs:
They enclosed a very long letter:
I then pulled out a window cling:
Next was a 2012 NFL Pocket Schedule, with the entire 2012 season schedule on it for every team:
I then got a Chiefs pocket schedule:
I flipped it over to see this:
It is a gift-card sized card with their schedule on it, along with 2 key fab schedules!
I then pulled out a large picture of Brady Quinn:
I flipped it over and saw this:
Cool stuff!
The 4th envelope I got was another one of the self-adressed ones I had sent out, this one from the Indianapolis Colts:
I first pulled out this letter:
After that, I found 2 key chains
Finally, I pulled out a mini pennant:
The 5th and final package I got was the largest of the 5, from the Richmond Flying Suirrles, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants:
I opened it up and found one item inside:
A blanket! I opened up the blanket to find this:
How cool is that?
Wow. I got some pretty awesome stuff. It’s crazy to think that teams are willing to send me so much free stuff. Incredible!
That is all I have for this entry. As always, I will add blog entries as I get mail, so check back often!
I also will have another Baseball-Related collection entry up on Saturday morning, so keep a look out for that.
Thanks!

Cool! I have all of those except the colts one. The chiefs sent me this cool ring from the September 9, 2011 showing the support for the tenth year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. It was vs the buffalo Bills and one of 5,000 made so that was pretty cool! It can with a ticket of authenticity to from the NFL. I think they have it to me because I am from Buffalo.

Woah! That is really awesome! Have you sent an email to the Colts yet? If not, they ask you to send a 12 by 8 envelope with like $1.40 in postage for them to use.

I am aware if the colts fan pack. I have just received at least 1 fan pack a day for the last month everyday so I’m in a wait till they stop coming to send them out.

1 every day? That’s insane! I just emailed MLS teams last night, I’ll do NHL on Friday, then finish of AA, High A, A, and Low-A after that.

I remember getting a DVD from the Brewers, along with the stickers (I like their old-school design) and a team picture.

I like the retro logo too. You got a DVD and team picture too? Nice!

Yeah, it was similar to “the Franchise” show except made by someone else and only like an hour long. I think I watched it twice
