Mail Time! #12

So, in my last entry, I said that this entry would be published on Thursday. When I got home from school, I pulled out my laptop, and with this entry ready to go, I clicked publish, and nothing happened. I stayed at the computer for half and hour before my laptop’s battery died. Of course I forgot to plug it into the charger! Maybe it was my computer, maybe WordPress. I don’t know. Everything was acting up. Maybe this entry is just too awesome?

This may sound silly or insincere, but I am sorry I didn’t get it up on Thursday. Very frustrating.

Wednesday was the 3rd day in a row that I got mail from teams. I actually got 3 envelopes on Wednesday! On Monday, I got 1. On Tuesday, I got two. If the trend continues, I’ll be getting four envelopes tomorrow! I got 6 packages in 3 days. Good week for mail!

The first envelope I got was from the Houston Rockets (NBA)

Inside, I found 4 2012-2013 pocket schedules

I then opened up the next envelope, from the Round Rock Express (AAA Affiliate of the Rangers)

Inside, I found 3 of these 2012 pocket schedules

They looked like this on the back

I also received 1 2013 pocket home game schedule

The 3rd envelope I received on Wednesday was probably the largest of all my fan packs so far

Yep. The Yankees. For those of you who don’t know, I hate the Yankees very much. However, I still sent them an email with the feeling they would sent a lot of free stuff back. Boy was I right!

I first pulled out two of these sticker sheets (There are three stickers on each)

I then found this pennant

Next, I pulled out a magnetic schedule for the 2013 season

Next, I found 4 pencils

After that, I found this pumpkin stencil

I then pulled out this bookmark

Then, I found this plastic-wrapped thing sponsored by Pepsi Max

I opened it up and there were 6 cards inside, with a Pepsi Max advertisement on the back. There was one for Mariano Rivera

David Robertson

Brett Gardner

CC Sabathia

Robinson Cano

And Curtis Granderson

The last thing I pulled out was this

I turned it over

Then, I opened it up.

It is a ring that was a giveaway at Yankee Stadium in September, commemorating Mariano Rivera’s 602nd save, breaking the saves record.

It had the Yankees NY logo on the side

And an advertisement on the other side

How cool is that?!?!?

The Yankees clearly have a lot of money for these fan packs!

So, that is it for this entry. Whatever I get Friday and Saturday will be uploaded Saturday evening. I PROMISE. Then, on Sunday, I will have a reminder up for my weekly BlogTalkRadio show.

For those of you who don’t know, last weekend, on Sunday, I did a little radio show on From now on, every Sunday I will be doing a 30-minute Sports Radio show at 8:30pm PST. If you want to listen on Sunday, you can click here.
